Brent Leder, Attorney
Brent Leder is a member of the Michigan and Florida Bar, focusing his practice on representing clients in a variety of capacities. His corporate clients are represented in a large variety of civil, contract and business tort litigation.
Brent’s practice represents individuals in divorce,
criminal law, and civil litigation.
He has experience representing clients in various family law proceedings including divorce, custody, and support. He has also worked in criminal defense for over 10 years representing clients from simple traffic tickets to serious felonies.
Prior to joining the legal profession, Mr. Leder worked in the corporate sector in advertising, marketing, promotion, management and consulting. He advised and counseled numerous businesses in a variety of capacities. His unique skill set allows him to leverage this past management and work experience with his legal training to provide clients with a broad understanding of the issues facing them, working to find practical solutions to complex issues.
Mr. Leder currently serves on the Wixom City Council. He received a B.A. from the University of Michigan and J.D. from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Rick Markowitz, Private Investigator
Rick Markowitz is a retired Law Enforcement Officer with 25 years’ experience backed by military training and investigations in the private sector.
While an officer, Rick spent many years in patrol, finishing his career in the Detective Bureau. He also started and rode in the motorcycle program, as well as a team leader in hostage negotiations. He served as a shift representative and was a state certified precision driving instructor.
Rick has owned and operated his Investigations and Executive Protection company for over nine years, investigating a plethora of different scenarios, from child custody/divorce to homicides and everything in between.
Every member of his team has over 20 years or more experience in various facets of law enforcement, including local, DEA, FBI, CIA, and immigration, using the latest state of art technology in databases and GPS monitoring.
The company provides the highest level of service to their clients, while utilizing an endless list of contacts and connections to obtain information needed.
Diana Jappaya, Paralegal
Diana Jappaya. Graduated from Baker College in 2009 with a degree in Business Paralegal. Her career as a paralegal includes criminal law, motor vehicle accident and personal injury law.
With little guidance from our attorney’s, Diana is adept at drafting briefs, legal memorandums, motions and correspondence. She is skilled at collaborating with a diverse range of legal professionals including associates, investigators, legal secretaries, police and judicial employees.
Fluent in three languages, English, Arab and Chaldean, she expands Rosenberg Detroit Laws ability to communicate more clearly, offering a deep level of comfort to provide the best criminal defense possible.
